A condom is a barrier device most commonly used during sexual intercourse to reduce the probability of pregnancy and spreading sexually transmitted diseases (STD's such as gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV). It is put on a man's erect penis and physically blocks ejaculated semen from entering the body of a sexual partner.
Condoms has been the most trusted and widely used form of contraception in the world. Not only it prevents unwanted pregnancy but most sexually transmitted diseases as well. It has been long studied that most STD's are acquired during the friction of two sexual parts, the condom acts as a wall to eliminate this acquisition. During the course of time condoms has become more and more popular and widespread by means of media, cheap price and OTC availability.
Condoms has evolved into many forms, one of which is the ultra thin condom, a condom made from the thinnest material yet durable enough to have protection a condom provides. Since men achieved ejaculation by means of sensation by rubbing on the skin/part of the penis, a condom sometimes block this sensation thus ultra thin condoms were made. There also other condoms like flavored condoms and ribbed condoms to provide more sensation and thrills in using a condom.
